I recently completed this airbrush painting on a Jeep Grand Cherokee hood. The customer being a devoted fan of the band the Grateful Dead, I created this artwork using a compilation of iconic Grateful Dead images. A layout and reference image was first created on the computer in a graphics program for the customer’s approval and this rendering was used throughout the airbrushing process to ensure the painting was kept on track. I should mention that all the preparation, priming, base coating, clear coating, and of course airbrushing was done entirely by JT Airbrush Art and Design. I typically perform all aspects of a project, from start to finish, myself in order to maintain the highest quality standards.
